Hey guys!, i wanted to post this last week but my internet connection died on me 
, i just have a new tattoo! and even it is not finished (one more session of pain is missing for the background) i wanna share it with you!
And also i'm wondering how many of you rockers got some body art?, please post some pics cause (as you can tell) i'm very into tattoos (and all kinds of arts really)
Here's my new one, it's a lotus flower:
Once the background is done, my whole right sleeve will be done !

I was tempted to ask to see closer shots of your work when I saw them in your lessons.
Do you care to share the meanings behind your ink?
I don't have any tattoos at the moment. Although I'd like one someday, I don't know what it will be yet!

thanks man!, well behind my ink there is not much meanings, i think the meaning start to grow (or reveal to you) after some time, once the tattoo is getting into something organic with your body, but right now i'm focusing on cover the natural elements on my arms, right arm water and fire, and left arm earth and wind, obviously it is my own interpretation of em, i'm saving the nack for ancient designs inca/maya? and the chest for "mind" designs.
hahaha yeah! just hours under the laser

Cool, I've been thinking of making a tattoo thread for awhile but never got to it. Your tattoos are great, from what I've seen on your videos!
Here's my first, I did it roughly 2 months ago and I love it! It's Eddie of Iron Maiden for those who don't know it. I've drawn it myself, but the artist freehand tattooed the skin and flesh around the ripped skin. I'm on my way on becoming an apprentice for a tattoo artist in my town at the moment actually

I really envy you guys! I'd love to get a tattoo, but my girlfriend wouldn't really like it, plus I work in the public sector and a tattoo is a no-go there...maybe some day, I won't give up my dream so easily. I' d love to have a dragon or a succubus with a guitar on my right shoulder.

here are my two cents, i took this when i got it:
(I know my forearm looks kinda bloated, but its just the angle. Im holding camera in my arm while snapping the pic. )
Not much, but its done nicely, and i like it.
I'm planning to get some tribal on my right shoulder. When i do, i'll post photos.

This was my first one from my own design. It was done by 'Uncle' Vic Windsor of Hells Angels Windsor MC. He did it for my 30th Birthday present.
This pic is taken from the HAMC Windsor Yearbook and was in a 3-page article about Vic's Tattoo Parlour called 'Fantasy Fineline'. It's still operating in my nearest town!

I don't have any pics of any of my others, but will get some done when i get my next ink done. On my left arm is a self-designed Aztec Sun Face which will be surrounded by some Polynesian style. Whilst my right arm will retain the Celtic theme in honour to my Half Viking/Half Celt ancestry!

Finally someone with great taste!
Carefull with the runes though - altough I enjoy nordic mythology a lot (see "Berglmir") - here in Austria you might easily get confused with some Neo-Nazi Crap
Hope it´s better in Norway and not so biased!

I got one, it's a gargoyle with a nasty looking face.
I got yellow highlights in it because he is parched on a building, and I want to be able to add the nights sky around him. Then it will appear he's looking down on to a busy street.
I got it about 6 years ago, and haven't gotten another. I will one day when I'm out of school and have a little more spending cash.
Sorry for the bad pic quality, it was from my cellphone when I first got it. The good 'ole 1.3 MP camera.

Hey there, This is my latest addition, I got it to mark the birth of my Son 3 months ago...as usual it took ages to decide and get it drawn up....12hrs done, when it heals, I'll get a blue background going....Tatts are adddictive!

Very Cool and I think for a guitar player the natural elements theme already has a strong and very fitting meaning since they are wielding the axe.
All others are awesome too.
None here yet. I alway wanted to do something with the amperex bugle boy image (vacuum tube with horn) with a mixed design around it to make it more interesting.

I got my guitar tattooed on my right arm (you should all do that 
), something I have wanted for years but the ex was always reluctant to let me have it. After she broke up with me, one of the first calls I made was the tattoo studio xD. I'm glad I did it, I think it looks just awesome and it's always funny to see other people's reaction to it, since I always get to hear "I never thought you were tattooed and a metalhead..."
