I've started listening to quite a few Brazilian bands due to the fact that my wife is Brazilian










The last two are Sertanajo which is Brazilian country music, very cheesy but very popular in the State my wife is from (though she hates it, so it annoys her when I play it!)

I'm sure it will help me learn the language listening to it all.

Great catchy songs ! If I am not mistaken, the official language of Brazil is Portuguese ?

This is the biggest Reggae band from Brazil...

I love Portuguese language it's soft and cool sounding, specially in songs!

Honestly not a whole lot besides English. Mainly due to the fact that I kind of obsess over lyrics, and love hearing the stories they portray. Although (and blame Sollesness) I do like Japanese sung music, the extreme over the top vibrato's and odd accents make it strange but enjoyable to listen to.

The only one I have heard in years is Superize's band "Lumberjack" and I like them! When I was stationed in Okinawa, there was a Japanese band named "X" that had a few cool songs (my favorite was "Endless Rain") but the stuff they did on stage was really corny (kicking balloons around and stuff like that). They also would mix English with their lyrics and sometimes it really made no sense. However, they spoke better English than I speak Japanese so I have to give them credit for that!
