the solo from deep purple's child in time has gotta be right up there, the live version is awful but the studio version is epic.

I think Stairway to heaven is up there but so is Calos Santanas Europa alot of guitarists to choose from one of my new faves is our very own Gabriel Leopardis maj pentatonic

For as long as I can remember (since '81 anyway) Randy's Mr. Crowley solos on The Blizzard of Ozz was my favorite. Then, a few days ago something strange happened. I came across this;

The nine second phrase starting at fifty seconds rips my heart out every time i listen to it. I love music that has something to say, and says it with a lot of feeling, and this one is all that and more. I just got a whole new reason to practice my ass off. I WANT TO PLAY LIKE THAT!!!!!!!!! Boris Btw, Marcus, If your reading this, I wanna have your babies. Oh wait, the whole guy/guy thing wont work, damn.
