There are many songs that generate this on me, but today I've discovered one:

I'm tired of weakness
Tired of my feet of clay
I'm tired of days to come
I'm tired of yesterday
And all the worn-out
Things that I ever said
Now it's much too late
The words stay in my head

So the day will begin again
Take comfort from me
It's up to you now
You're still here and
You'll dig in again
That's comfort to you
It's up to you now
So Pariah, you'll begin again
Take comfort from me
And I will take comfort from you

I'm tired of Facebook
Tired of my failing health
I'm tired of everyone
And that includes myself
Well being alone now
It doesn't bother me
But not knowing if you are
Well that's been Hell, you see

So the day will begin again
Take comfort from me
It's up to you now
You're still here and
You'll dig in again
That's comfort to you
It's up to you now
So Pariah, you'll begin again
Take comfort from me
It will take time

Don't you worry
Don't worry about a thing
'cause nothing really dies
Nothing really ends.

the new steven wilson album will be amazing biggrin.gif

lately for me, this song is giving me chills...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-m1NxD_V3E

As the clouds drew, so the rains came, turning the dust to dirt.
And the rocks jut and the banks block, but the river it goes right on.
Slog through, skirt hitched, knee-deep in mud.
We'll be there, covered in earth, ‘cause we’re the people who live, and we will…

Dig Your Fingers In

The wind rose, swirling and lashed its frenzied whip.
Its coil, a gyre and we were in the eye.
The rumble, a rattle of everything shaking apart.
And in the middle of this trembling world, she turned to me and said, don't sway…

Dig Your Fingers In

So the storm fell, soaking and slammed its mighty head.
A ragged squall that lights the sky and drowns the earth.
Keep steady, set hard; let your hands grow calm and cool.
And lift your glass, your fists to whatever lies on the road, she said…

Dig Your Fingers In!

Another steven wilson song that is always chill inducing and well worth a listen, if you've not heard it before...

That steven wilson song gave me chills, thanks for introducing me to it.

One of my songs of chills

All seeing eye of God
Pack up your tents to travel
Through low land countryside
Lay down your hammers brother

Through open passageways
I felt my breath grow shallow
Lend me a voice, oh God
To scream and shout and bellow
Chew up your love then swallow

Three stars are pinned above
Howling their hope in shadow
Cast down with weary eyes
And bid their sheep to follow
Chew up your love then swallow

So many but these 2 by a Perfect Circle come to mind first....

I love the simple solo in Magdalena and the chorus.

And also the 3 Libras does it to me...

That's wild, other than myself you are the only person that has ever said that song really stuck out to them but man, it is so moody and paints such a dark picture - very poetic in the way Maynard is describing lust for a stripper. And the music and electro-hypnotic feel.

Yea - love that song.

I got to say The Outsider by APC does it too - right after the bridge at the end - the entire final part of the song from music to lyrics and delivery are powerful.

Oh that is awesome - I have a terrible early 2000s douchebag tribal armband I am wanting covered up. I'm looking at getting a half sleeve of Alex Gray artwork.

But i do love the APC logo.

That Falkenbach song is so deep. I made me want to know what language they were using... It seems that it's some kind of old Iceland mixed with old Norse... that sounds interesting.
