GMC Forum _ CHILL OUT _ My Pc Speakers Blew Up!

Posted by: mattacuk Dec 28 2007, 01:07 PM

Ok so my much loved Creative I-trigue L3450 speakers gave up the ghost this morning (well one of them). I really didnt want to have to replace these as I not only love the sound but im pretty skint being christmas and all. I think my pandora pushed them to there limits laugh.gif

I was wondering if anyone could recommened some similair speakers? or maybe better ones! The max im looking to spend is around £40.

Thanks! biggrin.gif

Matthew, to hear this is a crying shame sad.gif .Mine blew up a couple months ago. I replaced with Logitech 5.1 something something.... Very cool set up biggrin.gif but price wise, i am not sure. I think logitech do some pretty decent cheap speakers. But you do get what you pay for, that is for certain.

Hey Matt- i had these for chirstmas:

Logitech X 210

(heres the cheapest i found them after a quick search, you may be able to do better)

http://www.pcwb.com/catalogue/item/LOGSP039?cidp=Froogle

Has a nice bassy sound, small remote (wired) with volume control and headphone port and can be cranked up enough for sure.
under £25 its cheap and very cheerful

A while back I bought myself a cable to connect my laptop to the stereo. It's a dirt cheap solution with alot of improvement soundwise. At least it was for me.
