Original lesson: The Voice Of Your Guitar by Cosmin Lupu

Wow this was harder than I thought...
To Cosmin I can only say sorry that this take was delayed by the fact that I suck ^^.
I am new to this lead/solo stuff and all of these bends and vibratos where quite a thing to handle!
While recording I usually messed up one bend here and one vibrato there and since I am not very patient with myself, I almoast smashed my (poor and innocent) keyboard^^
This take is far from perfect, I know that, but it was the best I could came up with today and I didn't want to delay this lesson any further, so here it is :

Edit: The video should work now!

Original lesson: In the Style of Black Sabbath by Marcus Siepen

Here we go again ^^
This is a lesson that I wanted to upload since a long time ago, but I always felt like there was something wrong, when I played it and actually I still feel like I am making some mistake in this take I uploaded.. I just can't figure out what, but I guess if I knew I'd be doing your job XD

For this lesson I created a sond that was supposed to sound old... just as old as the original black sabbath ^^
I noticed, that Daddy failed to deliver tabs for the backing guitar, so I play powerchord-versions of the notes, the bass was playing according to the guitar-pro tabs^^

Original lesson: Metal Rhythm: Right Hand Workout by Marcus Siepen

So here is my second post to the rec-system^^
To be honest I have had a ruff day and I don't really expect to pass the lesson with this take, because I made some mistakes, that I feel like I should be able to clear out if I re-recorded this lesson...
In the end I figured, that I'd upload this take anyway to get some feedback - after all that's why I am here laugh.gif

I used my standard setup for this take and this time around even the video is live XD
I just noticed after I was done for today, that most other students, that have posted a take of this lesson used 2 tracks for the last part, while I was to sleepy to recognize that earlier, which is why I only played one track. That results in the last part being a bit sloppy^^

Enough talk for now, see for yourself:

good night everybody

Original lesson: Tom Morello Style by Marcus Siepen

Hi GMC biggrin.gif,
welcome to my very first upload.
I started with this lesson, because it is one of my favourite lessons (if not THE favourite lesson).
I threw in some palm mutes ( especially during the second riff), without actually knowing it ^^, I actually haven't listened to the original lesson in quite a while, so i just played it from my memory and this is the result.
I didn't use any wah-wah effect, because i think the solo sounds better without it.

As far as my equipment goes i was using:
- A Gibson Les Paul "Manhatten Midnight" Ltd. (it was a present from my father <3, so I'm not too sure about the name^^)
- A POD HD 400 with the Rectifier setting and some Marshall (not sure which one) for the solo

-David

Edit: I actually forgot to record a video of me playing, while I was recording, so i had to record a video after the audio was already finished.
That and my lack of video-editing skills might be the reason for the video and audio not being perfectly in tune...
Also I recorded 2 tracks, one of them playing the solo in the end, while the other one continues with the riff.
