Howdy, this is really good, dude. Your picking is really consistent and your fretting hand work seems efficient too.

You've got a small error with coordination at 0:40. If it happens again people are going to get hurt, you understand me? ph34r.gif

Have a listen to 0:20 and 0:23. You can hear that open string ringing there? This is happening because your fingers are curled up on your picking hand and there is nothing to mute the higher strings with. This is ok but there may be times where you want to mute a ringing string on the G, B or high E. See if you can shift the outside part of your hand so that it can mute that area. Don't change your picking technique, just see if you can move it at will for certain occasions. The other option is to let your fingers hang down to provide cover. It's up to you.

Excellent work. Keep it up!

Hey man! Nice to see a take over my lesson smile.gif Overall effect is good an You did most of what is to be done with this lessons. Though...there are few things to fix.

0:26 - On the G chord You do not mute strings and the ring over next part. It happens everytime in the same place so it liek a regualr issue to be fixed - simply use Your left index finger to mute all strings below once You start to repeat the lick. Finger has to be flat for a moment - sort of baree position but only softly touching all strings below the one You play at the moment

0:56 - one of the most common mistkes made with this lesson is to forget about picking direction switch. That part should start from an upstroke. It's crutial because it's purpose is to show when switched picking direction has purpose to be used instead of regular (starting from downstroke)

Those are 2 most important issues here. Aside from this it is very nicely executed take. Well done smile.gif

Hi MisterM!

This take shows a very tight alternate picking technique. You can play the whole thing at tempo and go very well with the groove of the backing track and that not a small thing.

Besides the things that Ben and Darius already marked, I can say that I feel that you are picking very softly and it makes the note sound weak and your playing like "shy". Try to pick harder the notes and give more dynamics variation to your playing at first based on what Darius does in the original lesson to have a reference. This will make the notes sound clearer/more defined and your playing more organic.

Keep rocking mate.
