Hey there, Luciana. First of all, I'd just like to say that you have an amazing voice, I'd love to hear it put to a full song.

Anyways, I just wanted to get some input on my voice. I've been told I've had a good one, but I'm not sure myself. I'd like to hear your opinion.

The first clip is from part of a song called Laid to Rest by The Showdown. It's accompanied by an acoustic guitar, all finger picking.

The second one is my voice alone, an excerpt from 'From End to End' by Relient K. I think I messed up a bit near the end, but I guess we'll see.

I think I've got a fairly decent variety of ranges. Bass, Tenor, Alto, and a bit of Soprano. These two only showcase my soprano and Alto/Tenor (one of the two XD), so if you'd like more variety, I can do that as well.

(Keep in mind I'm only sixteen, so I have years to improve tongue.gif)

Look forward to hearing from yah!

God bless, kudos for now.

Hi JohnnyBoy777!

First of all... Your singing is SO nice to hear!.... I like it very much! You remind me to Maynard James Keenan of A perfect circle.

I can see that you don't have big problems with singing : you are always on pitch ( almost always).. you have a good vibrato ( btw very natural).

In the first song ( very nice part of that song) I can hear it almost perfect..I could hear a little problem with the air that brings insecurities . Keep in mind that I`m going to be very meticulous with your voice, because you have a good level, ok? Try to inhale a little more air everytime you need, breath like you do usually but deeper.
You can feel that insecurity when you hold the note in the word "HOME" and in the word "SON". It seams that the vowel "O" brings you a little problems.-
I like what you did in the word "Angels" like: A-Angels... very good, very personal.

In the second one: Is good too, but I can't understand what did you do in the chorus.. When you sing "HEY HEY". Don't you think is overblowing there?. Then you repeat it in other part... pay attention on that.

You have a good level!. Congratulations for your singing! you have a great voice! take care ok?

God bless you too

Luciana

Thanks for the comments, they mean a lot to me! It's really good to hear some feedback from someone like you after all this time, you have no idea, ah hah.

I'll definitely start working on my inhaling, that's without question. I'll keep in mind what you said about the 'O' as well, I never thought about it like that before. As for the second song, I had a feeling I overdid it just a bit. It's supposed to be a bit rougher in those parts, but I didn't think I did a good job at it, heh. I guess there's rough, and then too rough, I gotta work on that too.

Again, thanks for the input, I really appreciate it! You're an amazing singer yourself, and I know you'll just keep on improving!

God bless, kudos!

JOHN
