Ok folks,
My Peavey Valveking is back in Germany for up to four weeks. I'm missing it so I thought I'd try one of these little beauties in the meantime. Got for a steal from a trade dealer on Ebay for £285 delivered. I wanted one of these a while back but they were around £600, they've dropped a bit now to around £450 - £500 new from a shop. Sorry Mertay, please don't shout at me sir Just got to hook it all up properly and sort out how to use it, shouldn't take too long, (famous last words ) Official stuff HERE This post has been edited by Phil66: Sep 6 2016, 08:17 PM -------------------- SEE MY GMC CERTIFICATE “Success is not obtained overnight. Yeah thanks Mertay,
I'm actually surprised how sweet the clean channel is through my Celestion Vintage 30 Harley Benton cab. It's at least as good as the Peavey. Regarding the re-amping, I will have a play later on but if I want to do that I still have my Radial Twin City sending my guitar to my GT-001. Guitar>Keeley Compressor Pro>Hot Bird>Radial Twin City> to either GT001>Focusrite or GT100>Laney>Focusrite Then I have my SM57 to Focusrite. Plenty of options Big review HERE including a re-amping demo Cheers buddy. -------------------- SEE MY GMC CERTIFICATE “Success is not obtained overnight. It is good, through the cab it's awesome, the emulated out isn't as good, time will tell if it's as good as the Peavey in that respect. The Peavey was/is a bit muddy when emulated.
Looking forward to learning all about it. -------------------- SEE MY GMC CERTIFICATE “Success is not obtained overnight. Nice! I was thinking of picking one of these up but I ultimately decided to have Myaskinov build me a JCM800 preamp clone

Yeah USD and xlr out. Just got to sort that hiss, not sure it's the amp per se, but the Peavey didn't have it with the same set up.
