I'm aware I've missed the deadline, so won't badger on about that - but how often does this kind of mentor program come up on GMC? It would be perfect for me as I'm home bound at the moment, and really want to direct my time into some serious guitar improvement, I just lack the structure to obtain my goals.

So, any idea if other GMC tutors will be doing something similar soon?

Thanks a lot,

Adam

Were just getting started with it Adam - this is really a pilot so that we can find out what it takes to do this well. The linger term plan is to throw it wide open and have GMC members mentor each other - we'll let everyone know when we are ready for that!

Great vid Rated!

Im curious smells. What are the qualfications for intermediate? Its such broad term eh?
All the videos posted seem people have strong points in lots of 'different' areas.

Just was wondering. Feel free to give me the dipolmatic answer. smile.gif

Yup I agree, intermediate is a broad term indeed! and pretty hard to define in any clear cut way. We each have our own version of what intermediate is, I think the videos posted probably meet the criterias of intermediate players at various levels (if that makes sense?) laugh.gif

your right as well, strengths and weakness`s vary throughout all the vids posted also, but ... there is also many things in common with all the videos as well with the exception of maybe one or two smile.gif (heheh trying to be diplomatic ofc wink.gif )

My aim is to pick a small group that show a particular "common" weakness that we can work on and try and overcome as a group smile.gif

Well, I didn't think about making a video that way...I thought about doing one of my best lessons at a comfortable tempo so I could should that I reach atleast the intermediate ground...If you wish, or even in the future, maybe it's better you ask for a portion of each technique, like...10 seconds of a legato run, a sweeping run, etc.. so you could see where we have problems, isn't that what this is all about? smile.gif
