This lesson has been kind of a nightmare for me. Learned it wrong years ago and did not check back with the lesson before I did my first take. Then trying to relearn the proper way to play it was really tough. I'm still not confident I got it right but I do know that it is better.
Anyway.
Original lesson is http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guitar/blues-licks1/.
My first attempt is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QlWXPTtSrQE LOL, I just watched it again.
Equipment
Flip Video Camera. (recommended)
Reaper Guitar Port and Pod Farm to record sound.
All notes are in good place,
I have a couple things to say:
You must hit the strings harder, control vibrato better...be more agressive with vibrato,
Sing the lesson out loud with you voice and notice your timing....it doesn't matter if you are not a singer and that your voice is not "angelical", you only need pitch and rhythm, timbre is not important,
As Daniel said, the notes are right. I don't hear the blues feeling as much as I like.
Well played, maybe more aggressively...
solid 8 here man, pass!
