GMC Forum _ GMC site feedback & suggestions _ Wrong Time?

Posted by: El Marto May 28 2011, 04:11 PM

Hi,

why is the time on the forum displayed uncorrectly?

This is the time now, according to the forum: Time is now: 28th May 2011 - 04:09 PM
But actually, here, according to my laptop, it's 16h56.

I just adjusted my settings to the right time zone, but that doesn't appear to be helping.

Does anyone has a solution?

Thanks!

That's true. I have been thinking about it yourself. You can control the board time settings by going to my controls -> Board Settings. However, mine is correctly set up, but time is still wrong.

Kris is a bit ahead of us

Yeah, since the dawn of time the Forum has been like 20 Minutes ahead of the actual time ^^

The truth is that Kris is slowly making us disorientated and delusional so he can control our minds with GMC ! ph34r.gif

If you don't hear from me again, it's because I've been 'silenced'. These were my last words. mellow.gif

So this might be my last chance to say this:

Ben, hit the floor and gimme 100! laugh.gif

Funny Ben! laugh.gif

I've been wondering about this for ages.

Now this gives me an idea! smile.gif

What if GMC metronome was set to go 10 bpm faster then usual smile.gif
It would make all of you practice harder hehehehe smile.gif

What's happen to Ben, haven't seen him for a while, he isn't chatting like normal about his crazy theories?

+10mins for my time - it's close enough, probably just the server time is fast (it would just be adding hours to that).

There's so much killer speed shredding on GMC that it's pushed the site forward in the space time continuum. smile.gif Horns High!

Something just went bad with the coding of the forum.

---
But what if someone plays slow music, will we then go back in time, and then there will be a duel of slow guitar playing and fast shredding, then we'll get stuck, and die!! OMG... GMC is probably the reason why people think the earth is going under in 2012, the duel between slow and fast guitar, hmpfh.

Oooh, oké!
It's all due to fast shredding and Kris wanting to take over the world with GMC? ph34r.gif

I can live with that! biggrin.gif

Time adjusted! I have requested a permanent solution for this - I dont really understand why it needs to be manually adjusted all the time...

As everyone said - we are just shredding too fast and that is messing up with the time-space continuum smile.gif
That is the only logical explanation! smile.gif

It is still 12h off here, and I have it correctly at GMT+1 in settings.

Hmm are you really sure about that? It seems correct on my end now

Yeah, I'm sure. But it fixed itself through the night. Could be some cookies or something smile.gif

Fixed on my end as well.
