GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ Finally - Advanced Search Goes Sharp!

Posted by: Kristofer Dahl Feb 8 2008, 12:17 PM

You should now be able to perform an advanced video lesson search and see filtering options on the right side to allow you to find the exact lesson you ar elooking for.

You can also switch between list and standard view. This allows you get alots of lesson on one single page.

Also - the search results pages are now numbered so you can jump directly to page three, as an example. This should also show on the video lessons page (not only in the advanced search).

When you have performed a search and choose list view - you can then sort the lessons by title, level of difficulty, etc. If you click twice on the the title it changes from ascending to descending.

Hopefully this should make it easier to find exactly what you are looking for in our ever expanding archive! biggrin.gif

Thanks Henrik and Oskar for the awesome work! biggrin.gif

PS We have plans for a technique filtering option - first we need to tag our ~500 lessons (almost at least biggrin.gif ) so that the system knows exactly what techniques they contain.

Great! biggrin.gif

The option to sort lessons by difficulty or what not is probably the one thing I have been missing since I joined (acouple of weeks ago). Mind readers, are you? wink.gif

Thank's a lot.

Edited for spelling...

Very straight forward and incredibly helpful. I love the list of lessons and that I can sort by difficulty and kind of build up through them slowly smile.gif

It looks very cool and it comes in handy!
thnx for answering my request on it.

new tiny thing: would it be possible to get a difficulty notice on the lesson page itself? sometimes I come by a lesson and then I dont' know the difficulty lesson. Of course it's possible to check out the lesson and see the difficulty yourself, but I'm a bit lazy:D

Great job done Kris!!
