So after the Challenge thread started by Iainsteward onn Marcus Lavendell's board(https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_forum/index.php?showtopic=19689&st=0), it's time to bring the challenge to the main scene
 I would like to challenge anyone, both instructors and members, to learn to play Guthrie Govan's infamous jam over the Larry Carlton track https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUZK9dasP8s The challenge is to do it in one week! so good luck to whoever takes on this challenge! Personally I'm also trying to learn it but it will take me way more than a week to perfect it Post you'r challenges here, and have fun  Right, so after some thought, here are 3 more challenges for various skill levels: Beginner : https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guitar/blue-note-in-a/ A preety easy lesson by Muris, which will improve you'r phrasing, vibrato, and bending, and dynamic skills. Intermidiate : https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...lo-in-Eb-minor/ First lesson by the new instructor Pedja Simovic, some unique blues solo ideas, which will give you a taste of fusion! Advanced : https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guitar/lesson-no-1000/ If you can Mimic Kris's unique Rythm sense, I salute you! I believe but I prefer developping my ears and figure out this improvisation by myself. What about you other GMCers?

.. Guthrie's version is just to hard, but i would love to hear some tracks !!
... i just bought it 2 weeks ago and it's so much fun!!|

Problem with Guthrie's take is that it's 80% improvised,
even himself wouldn't play it the same way next time. I might give it a try tho.
