GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ Bend Release

are there any bend release lessons in gmc ?

cuz i couldnt find any, i went to video lessons and searched for bend release and got nothing.

so is there ??

There isn't a lesson exactly on bend releases but you can find ones in many lessons. I also don't think a lesson entirely on it is needed because everything you have to do after bending is to return to the note you played before bending.
It should sound like a smooth sliding to a higher note and then returning to the first one.

You can practice bends while improvising in a pentatonic. Every time you bend you have to bend TO a note that is also in the scale and every time you don't do so it won't feel right. This way you'll get to feel the bends.

Look for a "Bending Heaven" lesson - it's bending based and as far as i remember i used some bend-release stuff there smile.gif

May be there isnĀ“t much bending lessons, but I think you can find small pieces of bending excercises in many GMC lessons!!
