Man, I'm finding this one incredibly challenging. I can hear what I want to play, but I just don't have the speed to do it, or familar positions to use to play it.

This is very unfamiliar territory for me, but only one way to learn! I'll keep at it!

I get what you mean. This backing just begs for fast jazzy runs tongue.gif

Here is my take Emir, hope you like it.

For low gain drive I used:

-Some Reverb (its up to you)
-Delay
Delay Timing 1/2Triplets
Delay Feedback %15
Delay Mix %5

For high Gain I used:
-Chorus
Chorus Frequency: 2.00 Hz
Chorus Delay: 2 ms
Chorus Mix: %20
-Delay
Delay Timing 1/2 Triplets
Delay Feedback %18
Delay Mix: %7
-Reverb (its up to you)

Sure those are not written on stone, but I am sure you've got the picture so feel free to do anything if you think it will sound better laugh.gif

That was a great backtrack and challenging too. Thank you!!!

Cheers smile.gif

Hey Emir

I somehow mistaked the deadline to be the 27th. But saw it was today and made up something quite fast. I have a friend over, so didn't have a lot of time. Anyway, here it is:

[attachment=13799:Dexxter_Boogie_WB.mp3]
[attachment=13802:Dexxter_...gie_NB_1.mp3]
[attachment=13801:Dexxter_...gie_NB_2.mp3]

Edit: The first part is totally dry. I know that you have amplitube2, so you can use the preset BBClean, no tweaking, for the first part. Second part is custom setting, just removed the reverb for the dry take.

Well I nearly finished mixing. Ok I will wait a bit more and if anyone else thinks he can manage to send the take, you have it until tomorrow 12:00. If not then no problem, thanks for trying anyway.

Hello Emir. Last night I´ve just finished the composition of the whole solo. I will record it this afternoon, because in the morning I have work teaching classes. Sorry for the delay, Emir.
