Forum now restructured!

Ok if you are like me - things feel a little shaky now that we have restructured everything. unsure.gif

Just as with guitar practicing we need to constantly question what we have got and try possible improvements. We felt the forum had developed so much that the old structure didn't quite cut it... I often had to browse around for a whole minute if I wanted to find a topic deep inside the structure. Once you get familiar with this new structure it should be easier.

We have now gathered sticky topics of the most active boards into one single sticky - to not have to scroll past static topics to get to "the action".

We have removed the following boards: test, ladies board, multi fx - most topics were merged with other boards (we only deleted some topics/posts from the test board).

We have merged the guitarist analysis and band board.

Let's give it some time and see how it feels - and then we can we discuss further tweaking if we feel that it is needed! smile.gif

I was used to the old layout but so far it seems easier and more logic to find your way around wink.gif

It's confusing at first but I think I understand the layout now. Shouldn't take long to get the hang of it smile.gif

I really liked the new layout smile.gif
One thing though; wouldnt it be better if the "Electronic Entertainment" section was somewhere in "Chill Out Room"?

Yes Trond you might be right - the reason we didn't put it there is because we didn't want anything distracting in the top-activity boards (sticky posts and sub boards unfortunately end up being in the "hot spot" area of the board, which I personally find really annoying when you want to get a quick glimpse of what happens in your favorite board).

But you are right we will think a little about how to solve this...

I argree that it is much easier to navigate now, but in my opinion the pictures are way too big.

I agree on that, the pictures should be like realy small pictures. hmm... Hard to say how big biggrin.gif

EDIT: I saw that the top picture (the GMC one) is higher then the lowest one. I think it looks better with the pictures having more width then hight... If you get what I mean tongue.gif . Hope this helps!

Overall Great job guys! It rocks to see that GMC keeps improving!
