I always wanted to learn how to play slap guitar like on the second video but it's a very tricky technique!

looks and sounds awesome, indeed ohmy.gif
also love those acoustic guitar ppl.
http://candyrat.com is gearing up on those guys quite nice for a while

I also enjoy tapping stuff on acoustic guitars, like that

just has this percussive touch, you don't get with e-guitar tapping
still need some steel string though, most of that stuff is a pain in the a** on a nylon string (tapped harmonics etc.)

Andy McKee, Preston Reed and Antoine Dufour touring Germany in November... gonna be amazing happy.gif

Saw Tommy live in May, and it was easily one of the best concerts I have ever witnessed - It's amazing how he can get 1 acoustic guitar to sound like an entire band!
Allan Holdsworth also had a concert in my city a couple of days after, but I didn't hear about it until the day after he played, so that was pretty lame.

One of my favorite acoustic players gotta be Jon Gomm, though. (Along with Tommy Emmanuel and Andy McKee)
Cant deny the sheer awesomeness of this one!

Yeah absolutely , theres some amazing acoustic players .... If you like that just check out the candyrat website , they specialise in this style

me i prefer a more jazz angle on my solo guitarists .... Players like martin taylor , joe pass , herb ellis, ect even if you not a jazz player like i am, their style is worth watching and adapting to your own genre ....

And if flamenco is your thing acoustically check out paco de lucia,

Great videos!

Here is one of my favorite players in this style. Not as well known, but a monster player.
