Well that was awesome!!! Really well played and really well mixed and put together as well!! Are you using reaper? Also are you using amp sims or are you recording amps? Also, drums or drum plugin? No matter what tools you are using, it sounds great so keep it up!!!

Well that was awesome!!! Really well played and really well mixed and put together as well!! Are you using reaper? Also are you using amp sims or are you recording amps? Also, drums or drum plugin? No matter what tools you are using, it sounds great so keep it up!!! Todd Thanks Todd. I'm using cubase as DAW. Recorded guitars as wet from my podhd500x using 2 custom tones. So there are 2 tracks for rhythm on that mix panned 80% l/r. The mixing engineer did the rest. I'm' still very new to the art of mixing. Drums were recorded live by youtuber pedro (his link is in the description of the vid). What i struggled with was getting the vocals mixed right. Mixing metal vocals is really quite the skill to master. So all in all it was a great collaboration. I'm also learning video editing on the side, so what better way to practise than to create a music video lol ... YEAH!! Sepultura is latin american greatest metal band ever, and you did a killer job with this cover. Love this song. Thanks Gab ! Yea, it's certainly one of my favourites and brings back memories. Grew up listening to them. This post has been edited by zen: Jun 28 2020, 12:03 AM -------------------- "If the need is deep, you WILL find a way , if it isn't, you'll find some excuse"

Doing collabs is the best way imho to learn. The more you can do, the better. There are so many skills required to make a mix and then a video, it's a LOT to learn. This turned out great. I'm sure you will learn more as you keep going. Looking forward to seeing the next one!! thanks for the encouragement and support Todd. Agreed, its all about chipping away at that learning curve. -------------------- "If the need is deep, you WILL find a way , if it isn't, you'll find some excuse"
