so your saying i should be picking over the pickup near the neck?

Your hand should be lightly resting on the bridge. Not over any pickup, on the bridge. |

Yeah i understand your problem. I used to have an RG370DX ibanez. It has that Floyd Rose bridge so it makes it hard to palm mute (it interferes and pokes your hand). Sorry, thats just the way the guitar is, the floyd rose isint designed for palm mute since its mainly meant for whammy bar and lead.
Use the best of your guitar. Practice Pavels whammy bar tricks lesson and do some shreds. Thats something most guitars can do. Theres this guy who did palm mutes on the same guitar: http://youtube.com/watch?v=ruwXYRjxt0g Hope that helps -------------------- __________________________

i might ask Uncreator later but this guitar makes it hard to sweep clean and stuff.
