Hi Everyone,
I think GMC is a Great web to learn and improve my Guitar Playing. So I decided to Join it, yesterday. I just need a 'Little Help' to get Starting...

Little bit about me: I'm 20. Started playing guitar on my own around 15. Never took any lessons/course. Had a band (high school friends), used to perform simple rock songs during talent shows in school. I guess most of us just played for fun, rather try to become potential rockstars.
Band kinda broke after school finished. After that I've just been slacking off on the Guitar.. I guess I've kinda lost that inspiration, and motivation I used to have, when I was younger. Also there is no more school mates competition, i guess.
Even so, I'd play my fav. songs once in a while and never really gave it up on the Magic Instrument.

Since Just a couple of months earlier, I decided to get SERIOUS, n I mean really Serious (like I just got shot in the Head! Serious).
I was/am really inspired by Joe Satrani, I like his Style a lot.
Now I would like to steadly improve my guitar skills in a couple of months. And be able to play some of Satriani's songs, atleast in a years time.

Sorry for the long post, I think you get the Picture by now. I bet there's lots of guys like me out there who was, or is in the same situation.
Now I just like you to show me the right directions, .. so in a not so very long future, I can be able to play like Satch the Boggie man. wink.gif

Thanks a lot u guys..

- Peter

Welcome to the site mate and just do an advanced search for lessons of difficulty 2-6 and try a load out that you like the sound of and get involved on the forums in collaborations and challenges. It gives you a chance to get feedback from the instructors and even if you start off recording bad takes then you will notice the improvement after a year of participating. Best of luck in your learning.
