Just typing fuzz pedals into Thomann.de i saw that the main 3 were:
Z.VEX FUZZ FACTORY VEXTER
DUNLOP DALLAS ARBITER FUZZ FACE
SEYMOUR DUNCAN TWEAK FUZZ PEDAL

I tried out the Seymour one ages ago and I really liked it....but every one seems to have the Dunlop one.....does that mean its loads better than these other two?
I don't want to just follow the crowd...(especially after buying the hendrix/clapton cry baby wah which every one seems to have, and picking up a couple budget Behringer pedals)..but if its definately a case of worse or better, i would prefer the latter. Does anyone have any other suggestions or can help me on which fuzz pedal i should buy? Thanks! smile.gif

Dunlop isn't necessarily better but they have a much better distribution and marketing channel (and as marketing get the kudos from the Hendrix association) then SD or Z.vex in the UK. You can usually find Dunlop inany guitar shop in the UK.

Ideally the best advice is to try out as many fuzz pedals as you can with gear similar/same as yours. Depending on where you are in the UK - Guitar Guitar, Sounds Great, Peach and Chandlers are usually a good first stop for non-mainstream/more boutique stuff.

Cheers,
Tony
