Well E is sort of reference, I would say E minor pentatonic and E minor blues scale woudl fit nicely. ALso you can use E major pentatonics as well! smile.gif

I did my part by using B minor pentatonics. I actually started playing that by mistake, but it did seem to fit...

Later trying to figure out why, the only difference between the two is F# and G. And F# is also on E minor scale...

But do you know if there is any specific name for that specific usage? I mean, theoretically it should be actually a special kind of E minor pentatonic...

You're right Gus. In blues it is common to use E dorian along side with E minor. E dorian has two notes more - C# and F#. Also E dorian is the mode of the key of D major. Further - Bminor is in the key of D major as well. SO basically you used notes from E dorian there, only changed the root from E to B.

Hey stickyfingers smile.gif Don't worry about singing in my collabs are always open for anyone. Just go to the uploads and there you can find backing and you can record straight away. I find this method much better and easier smile.gif I made this topic as a collab starter topic where I watch to see if there is enough interest to start the collab. If there is (and there was smile.gif ) then I create Uploads Topic.

You can always fin new collabs in my signature, and the link there will always get you straight to the uploads topic where you can DL the backing and record straight away or later if you want. smile.gif

I might just give it a go one of these days. I have a bit of other things to get done first though. Will have something ready before the 25th though. I hope that is alright?
