I am looking at doing a pickup upgrade.

I want to change the stock pups in a semi hollow body.

Mainly for blues/ classic rock.

Why is my best choice based on experience? I was thinking of the 59's although the Alnico 2 Pro's are a little smoother at lower volume from what I have read.

I figure someone on here will have been down this road and save me some time.

Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge and experience.
