Last night and this morning, it has been really bad. Seems like a DNS issue as the site is there one moment and cannot be found the next???

EDIT: Took forever just to edit this post! I don't know, seems almost like a coding problem as when I restart the browser I can access the site. Then it starts with the problems again.

It must just be a US problem as it works perfectly well here in the UK.

Yeah hopefully USA connections are sorted out. The whole of GMC runs incredibly fast for me. Faster than any other site I go on it's insane. I don't even need to load the videos they load instantly when I open the page. I never have a red loading bar.

It has improved over the past day. Currently it look like the top chart, yesterday is was like the bottom (which was significantly improved over days before that when things were nearly at a halt).

Clearly the problem is in Holland, that is where the improvement has been, on the server and final routers.

haha. I like the file names of the images smile.gif It does seem a lot better from the images. Is it more stable now all through the day or does it have periods of slowness still?

Well it was awful tuesday, and most of wednesday, got better Thursday (new videos would take a few minutes, they had been taking maybe 10 minutes on tuesday).

It got pretty good just recently. It seems that from the bottom Tuesday, it improved gradually, in a steady fashion, my readings were about uniform over say any few hour period.

From the other thread also where he pinged the gmc server it took 200ms which is incredibly high. I bet if I pinged it then the value would be under 10ms. Infact I will do it now

Took 16ms almost 200ms quicker than the other guy in that other thread

The numbers would have been much worse on Tuesday, and much higher packet drops I expect.

I have seen better performance in the past than what we see on the lastest chart, but it is fast enough now to keep up, that is to avoid buffering for the most part. But if we are going to Europe all the time, we are always going to be significantly slower than you guys. I had though we had a mirrored server over here, but apparently not.
