For us struggeling in the cheap guitar swamp there are a few Epiphone models that look appealing to me now.
For the money, I think it's worth the $$$ since they include one or two goodies per model. Maybe Prophecy is more appealing in Europe than in the US where f.ex the SG Prophecy would compete with ESP LTD Viper 400. In Europe that Viper cost twice as much as the Epi while they both seem to be equaly "metal" Interesting with Epiphone taking it's own steps here. SG model with EMG81/85 http://www.epiphone.com/default.asp?Produc...CollectionID=16 SG model with Dirty Fingers humbuckers http://www.epiphone.com/default.asp?Produc...CollectionID=16 EM with Active Epi's http://www.epiphone.com/default.asp?Produc...CollectionID=18 EM with Active Epi's and Original Floys Rose http://www.epiphone.com/default.asp?Produc...CollectionID=18 Futura with active EMG81/85 http://www.epiphone.com/default.asp?Produc...CollectionID=18 Futura with active EMG81/85 and original Floyd Rose http://www.epiphone.com/default.asp?Produc...CollectionID=18 LP with EMG81/85 http://www.epiphone.com/default.asp?Produc...;CollectionID=6 LP with Dirty Fingers pu's http://www.epiphone.com/default.asp?Produc...;CollectionID=6 Maple tops, 24 jumbo frets and Epi-straplocks. I judge it to be a lot of heavy metal for less cash. My favourite, the SG EX with active pu's http://www.epiphone.com/default.asp?Produc...CollectionID=18 -------------------- My bands homepage
All time favourites: B. Streisand - Woman in Love, M. Hopkin - Those were the days, L. Richie - Hello |
