Slow down! What styles/sounds do you want? What is your budget? You only listed heads, does that mean you have a speaker cab? Can it be a combo or should it be a halfstack? hehe i would like an halfstack.. sound would be a nice distortion like metal/hardrock ( i really like the marshall sound ) if it has a nice clean channel even better =) my budget is not that much since i just bougth a guitar .. thats why i asked if the Laney Mdx 120h was good cause i saw one for 350 euros + Laney 200w Com 4x12" Celestion Rocket 50's speker(http://arrifana-aveiro.olx.pt/cabeco-laney-iid-58800193) i think i can goo up til 500 euros .. |

Yeah the look of a Halfstack is just stunning but for 500 Euros you can't really get a good halfstack...
Most of the good sounding 4x12 cabinets start at 500 Euros, and the respective heads cost two or three times that much - even used you can't get very good equipment. I suggest you get a good Combo amplifier, they are cheaper and more transportable and with 500 Euros you can even get a tube amp while all the heads you suggested are solid state amps and imho they don't sound as good The peavey Valveking 112 or 212 amps are ubeatable in thir price region: Rock/Metal, good quality, good sound and very very loud! http://www.thomann.de/de/peavey_valve_king_212.htm http://www.thomann.de/de/peavey_valve_king...tarrencombo.htm Save the idea of a halfstack for when you have more money and you are already playing in a band with a rehearsal room, halfstacks are way too loud for home use anyways and a pain in the lower back to move arround...How I know that? I had my 100watt halfstack in my room for a couple of weeks! -------------------- Gear: - Jackson USA Select KV2 King V with EMG 81/85 - Gibson Les Paul Custom Arctic White with EMG 81/85 - Ibanez Rg 8527 J Custom 7-String with DiMarzio Evolution and Air Norton - Peavey 6505+ head with Marshall 1960AV 4x12 cab - Peavey Vypyr 30 Practice Amp - Dunlop Crybaby From Hell, Maxon OD808, Boss TU-2, MXR CarbonCopy, ISP Decimator, MXR Custom Audio Electronics Booster |

Will sure do. For gigs you'll use a PA to where you can line the Spider, or mike the cab incase you think it's not loud enough. Which it might be so you'll have several options to be heard -------------------- My bands homepage

If you like the sound of that line 6 amp then it will do a great job for gigs! Practice is that on all (club and bigger spaces) gigs you have a mic in front of the amp that sends your guitar sound to PA speakers system! So in practice, 50w amp will do a great job too (speaking from experience).Even smaller ones can work if you like their sound, but PA and sound technician have to be good! Your amp will do the job nicely on a gig. -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net
