hey guys

just wondering if anyone knows how to save a dvd onto my desktop or computer. i have the dvd, i didnt download it online.
im wondering because i need to download it on my computer before i put it through a program to put it on my ipod.

anyone?

Do you have a video DVD that you wanna copy? Then you need to copy vob files. I use Total Video Converter for my video conversions. The software is fast, stable and simple.

Nero can do a Image of a DVD...

What format does it have to be in order to get it converted (through itunes) onto the ipod?

Check www.downloads.com for freeware, Im sure there's plenty there for DVD ripping.

Making an ISO image is great for burning but I doubt that's the idea for putting it into the iPod, rather Vob filer or, huh?

im using Videora. its really easy to use but i have to save the dvd on my computer, (see http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/iPod/guide/video-to-ipod/ 3rd picture) after that i just upload it into the program and it does everything else including puting it in my itunes.

is there any programs to save a dvd onto the computer?
