Had to do some little reviews not gonn lie , still i am not 100% sure.


1. What note is an Augmented 5th above G?
2. What note is an Augmented 6th above C?
3. What note is a Diminished Octave above A?
4. What note is a Major 3rd above g?
5. What note is a Minor 2nd above Ab?
6. What note is a Major 6th below A?
7. What note is a Perfect 5th below G?
8. What note is a Minor 3rd below Bb?

1. G-D, D is p5 so D# is aug 5th

2.C-G, G-A so A# is the aug 6th

5. It took me some time. i was thinkin on A as minor 2nd, but then i realized that we needed some kind of B not A, now i understand why the Bbb , damn i am gettin rusty.

6. Question?! why is it F#.
6th's invert to 3rd's and Major Goes Minor.
So isn't a Major 6 bellow A the same as a Minor 3rd Above A?
Lookin at the A Major Scale ---> A-B-C#, you would get C as Minor 3rd.
B means Bellow, i am goin backwards---> A(T) G#(m2B) G(M2B) F#(m3B) F(M3B) E(P4B) D#(TritoneB) D(P5B) C#(m6B) C(M6B) B A# A.

So why the F# instead of C?

8. Minor 3rd Bellow = Major 6th Above: Bb C D Eb F G A Bb the answer is G

9. G# A# B# C# D# E# F## G#

10. So Dorian is a minor mode. its a minor scale with with Major 6th and both Minor 3rd and 7th.
and Bb C D Eb F G A Bb is a Bb Major Scale; flatin the 3rd and 6rd and it becomes a Bb minor Scale
Bb C Db Eb F Gb A Bb = Bb minor Scale

Raising the 6th. and Flatin the 7th = Bb C Db Eb F G Ab Bb = Bb Dorian

Those are all right man. It should have been a C, just a typo but got it fixed. Nice work!! For the Dorian, try thinking about it as the major scale starting from the 2nd note, might be easier to find the notes that way. So think of Bb Dorian as the same notes as Ab Major but starting on Bb. Might be worth checking out that approach too
