This might be a real personal question, but do you make a living solely based on your Guitar?

This is a goal which I want to achieve, but I feel it is impossible. Nobody really cares about talent - one just needs a gimmic or something - sad world we live in. One is forced to spend most of their time doing things that they were not made for. I am a firm believer that one has a specific purpose in life. And this purpose was given by the Creator. And you have it - no question at all.

Question,on spot,thanks. smile.gif

This is odd world with strange attitude but luckily
I'm managing to live just from the music, mostly guitar only.
I play in several bands and with couple of major starts from Bosnia, different music genres tho.
Along with that I do a lot of recording sessions, again for various artists, sometimes my own stuff as well. smile.gif
I write arrangements for TV commercials, did one for Coca Cola department in Bosnia among many.
Private guitar classes and of course, mighty GMC!!! biggrin.gif
It is hard way of living, lots of work and not that much resting but I can't complaint indeed,
music IS all I've ever wanted. smile.gif

I really admire you Muris for making your way through life as a musicianand becoming a well rounded one two. I don`t know much about everything BUT i do know that it must have been very hard to stay in the music buisness knowing that there practicly wasn`t much of the music buisness for some time during the 90ties. Keep on rockin man smile.gif

Depends, how often and payments as well.
Lets say I used to have a break 20 days and than to play 25 days in a row blink.gif
Highest price per gig I've had so far was about 900 euros,
new years eve with some major stars, open air.
Lowest one is around 50-80 euros, sort of jam sessions, pubs etc.
