To friends who never heard of him before, he develops ridiculously good plug-ins (to me which could worth big money) and shares for free smile.gif and he just released this;

You can go to the download area to try previous releases, be aware though they are only 32-bit windows;

Yeah unfortunatly I think the program he's using is very bad at supporting other formats sad.gif but you can check the KVR developer challange winners over the years, there's also good stuff there smile.gif

You're welcome smile.gif

Just a reminder as I tested the slickhdr a bit and definitly use it like its said in the manual delicately if used on masterbuss. It's not very similar to any other tool I used before (maybe spectral comp.) but ere's a quote from a different forum which might be useful;

(added: set the P2 and P3 controls to minimum) Drive P1 as hard as you can but still getting a good sound.
...as soon as you bring P2 into action it will share the load and sound better...
...set the P2 release in different fashion of setting a usual compressor release, this one is about overall glue...
...top it off with P3+it's release setting,
(set the tone to bright, seems like most my cases), play with low and high detail knobs and finally finetune P1, P2 and P3 if needed.

compensate level for A/B

So when trying settings always compare by adjusting the plug-ins output to the original source smile.gif

Hey, I'm glad other people know this guy too! smile.gif Bootsy's plugins are some of my favorites, even out of paid ones. I really respect that his stuff is free, because he could definitely get away by selling them. I've used FerricTDS on drum tracks to give a bit more punch and warmth to the sounds, and also, DensityMkiii I've found helps glue together a mix I'm the final stages of production. smile.gif
