Another song I got done recently, With vocals too. This one is called 'Destroyer of Planets'. Basically about some half organic, half robot, that roams the universe destroying planets! Fun stuff smile.gif

I have been messing around with vocal effects, I tried to get the highs to sound like the were 'contained in the distance', But I didn't quite get it on that, I like how the growls came out though. Let me know what you think, Any improvements or suggestions are much welcomed.

Uhm, that one kicks ass. The only thing I can criticize is the guitar sound. It's a bit too fizzy for me also the bottom end seems to be a bit lose. Sounds quite a bit like a rectifier without something to tighten it up in front of it.

Sounds great, great death/doom song! smile.gif The intro riff kinda reminds me of some song of Bruce Dickinson, although there are no that much similarities, perhaps I'm just imagining smile.gif

Anyway, sounds great, keep rocking man.

I liked all of your songs so far. This one is amazing too. Really powerfull, did you record the vocals yourself? If yes, did you do some singing training or just tried it out, and do what sounds right?

I am not a big fan of this kind of growling music - but I must say the song had a very melodic feel to it. I liked it a lot, well done! smile.gif

Yes I did the vocals myself, I've been practicing for awhile. The screams for me are quite easy, I can do them for long periods of time and feel no pain or fatigue. The growls are a bit tougher for me, I try to get the least amount of air released from my throat to produce a lower note. And like guitars, I sing it twice, and pan it left and right to give it a cool effect.

Thanks for all teh feedback guys smile.gif
