I thought only drummers did that kinda stuff!? Actually I have on occasion caught myself doing that when playing. Oddly enough, It seems to also be when I sound the best. Maybe drool acts as fret lubricant or something?

i always drool over when i'm playing guitar, specially improvising, it's a so "inside" state that sometimes you forget about controlling your muscles, and then the gravity makes it's part.
