But damn she sings those lame lyrics good!

One of my favorite songs - and watch that crowd bounce!

I really liked this band with this singer, is she back?

They have been a big influences for my band when we were starting, check their influences on this song from our first album. smile.gif

and this song was not part of the album, it's a demo from the early demos, but sounds also in that style.

Awesome Gab. Yes, I thought about you're band when I posted this here. Not in a bad way. The headline I was just saying it doesn't take a wizard to write a killer song.

To my knowledge the singer is not back, I think she is doing her own thing. What I like about her is she has that sort of swedish sounding thing I almost associate with Abba - can't put my finger on it.

You're singer reminds me a little more of an Amy Lee-esque type of female vocalist, maybe a little harder edged than The Gathering.

I'm all about female singers. I found a woman through bandmate.com that is working with me on remaking 3 older songs. One is this one.

- Liberty Bell (The Gathering)
- Voices Carry (Til Tuesday)
- Words (Missing Persons)

Right now I'm working on Words and just got the first round of drums down with the help of my son - they didn't keep steady tempo through the song and that always throws me for a loop when programming.

Next I'll do Liberty Bell, and I was lucky enough to find the midi for Voices Carry online, so even though the drums are lame, at least they're in tempo and it will be easy to soup up in Logic.
