The Daughter Of The Universe
Chapter 3: Night Immemorial
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

Chorus
This night immemorial has scarred existence
It's words fell out like an eternity
This night immemorial has darkened existence
It's wings losing a feather with every breath
This veil falls on a face full of tears
Hiding the actors movements in the play
The phantom won't remove it's mask
On this night immemorial

So many words can play upon our emotions
So many bridges can be burned
With the utterance of a single declaration

Ties to our past's can be cut with a dull blade
Links to our future can be erased without warning
With the utterance of a but a few words

False promises are only good
If those you promise have any hope
Words spoken to advance the self
Can only progress with selflessness
A declaration signed in blood
Can never be annulled
A maestro only moves once
Before his orchestration begins

Chorus
This night immemorial has scarred existence
It's words fell out like an eternity
This night immemorial has darkened existence
It's wings losing a feather with every breath
This veil falls on a face full of tears
Hiding the actors movements in the play
The phantom won't remove it's mask
On this night immemorial

A wound has been opened and blood is present
Words have turned to a salvo crescendo
With the utterance of a signed declaration

When existence has challenged existence
Only war can be an outcome
The child of extinction breathes in and speaks...

The mind is fragile as are its thoughts
Constructed by a random architect
Words sometimes lack the meaning
That we wish them to have
Our actions cannot be undone
Nor can the words we speak
So when your thoughts are conjured
Be wary of the spell you cast

Chorus
This night immemorial has scarred existence
It's words fell out like an eternity
This night immemorial has darkened existence
It's wings losing a feather with every breath
This veil falls on a face full of tears
Hiding the actors movements in the play
The phantom won't remove it's mask
On this night immemorial

SOLO

The beauty has sung her final chorus
The last note ringing out for eternity
The beast has ravaged itself
Upon her corpse

The Citadel
Orion Arm, Milky Way Galaxy - In orbit around the ring nebula
8:54 am

In the weeks and months that preceeded the unknown attack on Earth, all species gathered to discuss what was to be done about this. Like any mass gathering of political figureheads amongts interspecies relations, Things turned quickly from concerned talk, To outraged accusations. The represenitives of humanity eventually lost there patience and delcared war on the Perseus Arms nations. Within hours, the species of the Orion Arm were at war with the Perseus Arm that consumed the majority of the Milky Way Galaxy.

No one still knew exactly what had happened to Earth, Or who held responsibility, Except me.

On a side note, the first 2 songs were pretty straightforward introduction into this story I've got goin, Ill start adding little bits myself aside from the "Commentary" after each set of lyrics, to make it more clear. Just to make it clear, Im trying to do what I attempted with the last set of songs I had, The Universal Equation. Explore human emotions, actions, consequences, and personal endeavours but kept within the context of a Science Fiction story but I've given up on mass condensing it. This tries, as oddly as it might seem, the effect simple words can have on people and nations (Or in this case, multiple species, but you get my point)
