Now I feel a lot closer to our Swedish brethren including Kris, Marcus and Micke, and I feel ever so slightly more Swedish smile.gif

Oh, and I have to say that Ikeas in the USA are a lot more pleasant and less busy than in the UK, also a lot cheaper too!

That was it really, sorry for wasting your time unsure.gif

It's not the few hours in Ikea that annoy me so much as the return journeys to get the bits that were missing or not in stock sad.gif .

Wife is off to Ikea soon so I guess I have a fun weekend coming up putting together whatever it is that she comes home with rolleyes.gif . Not difficult to assemble but for me the question would be would any of us buy a guitar that you make from flat pack blink.gif ?

Cheers,
Tony

Amen to that. I think Ikea is great.......for college students that like to get stoned, ex cons, and broke musicians hanging onto their dreams. I guess its perfect for me, I'm two of those things wink.gif laugh.gif

I know what Andrew means though. The other day I met this girl from Norway, and I was like "Awesome! I know a guy on my guitar class forum thats from Norway! (Robin)" I felt a bond with her, and with Robin, somehow. Weird huh?

I have only got three words: Kalles Kaviar and Knäckebröd

If you don't know what it means you haven't spent enough time at IKEA! tongue.gif

PS For Swedes who think this is a stupid post: I believe ikea abroad sell typical Swedish food products as well

For non-Swedes who think this is a stupid post: well...yes it probably is mellow.gif

I used to hate going to IKEA, but it's an excellent way to get rid of unwanted kids. biggrin.gif
You know there are hords of orphaned children roaming IKEA's all over the world like zombies, stealing catering food at night.

I feel sorry for you sad.gif
My wife did a IKEA trip to buy a new book shelf. She got everthing except the feets that you are supposed to mount under it. So we had packages all over the house for months before we could get hold of the feet. When we finally got them I started to assemble the shelf on a Sunday (Of course. Never do anything that have the slightest possibilty of requiering you to buy something on a Sunday). One section of the shelf wasn't pre-drilled so I had to drive all around the town, to every store I could think of, to find drills of the right dimension and drill all the holes myself. sad.gif
