im Yoav. 17 years old from israel. oh and im left handed which pretty much sucs when it comes to guitar. if your also a lefty comment... so i wont feel alone. joined gmc after trying for 2 months to learn trond vold's cannon rock. cant say i mastered it but it made me realize what a good way it is to learn if someone after three month of playing is able to play that kind of solo, even if not perfectly. i mainly listen to mainstream metal like SOAD, Maiden and Metallica.
since im used to it because im from israel if you want to talk politics pm me lol.

Maybe one method could be to drop the Canon lesson for a couple of weeks and practice other things, then go back... just maybe you will feel Canon plays even smoother.

i know. my father is there. his a doctor so i dont think or at least hope he isnt actually fighting but he a commands a lot of medics and doctors the are in there.

the problom is that even when i know most of the gaza strip citizens want peace sometimes its hard to be objective when they chose in democratic elections a terror group to control the strip and when people i know are fighting to protect israeli cities from them using ileagal weapons against citizens(qasam missiles are an ileagal weapon by the national treaty because it cannot be aimed).
even thogh i see photos from the strip i cant help thinking about the fact that the hammas aim to hit civiliens and that prevents me from feeling compation.

if you want ill open a thread for talking about the war. i would like to hear what you think about the war.

I am sure Israel is just trying to defend its citizens and its way of life, well war is war, it is an attrocity all by itself. I was shocked too when I heard palestinians elected hammas, and I was sure it would come to this... But you know it is very easy to convince ordinary people, even easier when they have limited chance to get educated and when they are in constant hoplessness. Civilians losses due to global and local politics thats terrible... sad.gif

Man I am sure you have war all over you, so maybe we can keep it out of here, just to give you a break of all this...

If you have any questions about anything feel free to ask biggrin.gif

You could open a thread for discussion of the war for my part, but it could get hot in there as I am pretty negative to how Israel handles the conflict tongue.gif

Though, welcome to GMC smile.gif

Posted by: skennington Jan 11 2009, 02:46 AM

let's keep the discussion of war out of GMC....I know the conflict is questionable but let's not debate it here...
