New Idea For Our Members, A gear list of what we use |

I just had an idea:
It would be great to have a list of the gear that we instructors and most active members use and here's why: Often users need to choose interfaces for themselves, and often they don't know what to chose. Well, wouldn't it be great to have the gear that we use for recording here on GMC listed all in one place. That way, people can come and see the list and check who uses, Toneports, Korgs, Pods, preamp, amps, and everything else. All this data in one place can later mean a lot when listening to collabs so people can see what type of sound they can expect from gear that most active members and instructors use. I thought this list can be started here, in a separate topic or on wiki, or later transffered to wiki after we get enough data. I agree but I thought of something little different, I thought about a list where all the data would be in one place.

Hmmmm...yeah, definitely. It would be a lot easier to access and you can also see if instructors have the same gear and compare them.

I'm glad you like the idea guys
So anyone have an idea how to begin collecting those valuable informations? I think Andrew can help us out with that, but I can take the job of collecting the gear list over PMs if needed. Later it can be all put donw on wiki, and could be editable or something, so we can update the gear if we change it etc. -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE

So I made the article on Wiki about this idea and I invite everyone to come there and write the gear they use for recording on GMC.
Little note to post only the gear you actually use for recording so there aren't any misleading info. here's the link https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/wiki/inde...rs_Gear_Listing For those of you who doesn't know how to add your name and gear - there's a small button that says "EDIT" in the upper right corner of the screen. After you edit your post, please put one horizontal line. Then, when we gather all the data, I will rearrange it by products. I'll do my best to turn it to a great article, after we gather a lot of info there. Currently don't know exactly how Wiki works in order to create good layout, but I will do my best and read the tutorials

I just wanted to add my equipment to the list, but for me there is no edit button on the page It only shows buttons named article, discussion, view source, history and watch, can anybody help me with this and tell me what to do?
