I just bought my first wah wah pedal, and im very impressed.. I just got the old school cry baby wah wah and realized that you can jam with it and it will hide any mistakes you make and make you seem like a god... Perhaps the best pedal ever made, also its easy to come up with some funky sounding riffs in clean channel... biggrin.gif cool.gif smile.gif biggrin.gif cool.gif biggrin.gif

If you only own one pedal, i think it should be a wah wah..

LOL..really? hide all the mistakes you made?

Yeah, just tap your foot and run up and down the scales in different patterns then throw a bend in here and there, if you mess up the wah takes care of it for you...

Probably not the best to practice with, but it sure is alot of fun to play around with..

I bought the Morley Bad Horsie 2 Contour Wah recently. Its really nice. You don't have to click on the Wah, it has true bypass so it doesnt affect your tone while its in the signal chain and you can just start using the whammy whenever you feel like it. I like it.

You should defnitley try and stop hiding your mistakes with that wah of yours, if you rely on that to clean up your sound instead of practise then you may stop getting much further as a guitarist.

I think that before you use the wah on a passage you should try nailing it without the wah first.

I know, I just was messing around with it tonight and was amazed at the sounds i was getting outta it, i was speed picking through the scales in different patterns and tapping my foot and it was sounding very nice... Im not gonna practice with it, its just fun to play around with

I agree. I'm a "Cry Baby" myself!

Now you know why Kirk Hammet uses one extensively tongue.gif.

Thats where the phrase "hiding behind a wah" comes from tongue.gif
