Hey guys, I got this Gibson Faded V recently and it plays great, I really like this guitar. But so far the sound has been a mere...meh. So I think a new pickup treatment is in order, I mainly just don't like that the pickups are very hot, and dirty, now I play with lots of distortion, but I like the output coming from the pickups to be rather mild.

Now I know that I like Dimarzio pickups, and while browsing the site I ran into this curiously named pickup, the Humbucker From Hell, basically it's supposed to sound twangy and clear like a single coil, but with full humbucking along with the power of a humbucker, that sounds great to me. I've always had problems with the neck humbucker getting muddy, and this sounds like the solution. I'm sure there lots of gear junkies here, so has anyone ever had experience with this pickup, and if so, how did it sound?

Thanks in advance. smile.gif
