(Tune up 1/4 step)
Using a chromatic tuner? You can put it preciesely in between E and F for example.. Another option is to change reference pitch, but I dont know how much.. I am not classicaly musically trained and instructors could help you more exactly:)
The God of Heavy Metal Said in his wisdom:
''Thou shalt nto tune up your guitar, only drop it down to a deeper tuning!''
But seriously I don't know how to do it
For example Flood by Pantera is 2 and quarter tone downtuned
its for some ac/dc songs!
Use a tuner and set the A on the tuner to about 450/455 Hz instead of 440 Hz and it will be 1/4 step up as far as I know
I suggest you play them in standard tuning because the main reason why they played 1/4 step down in those days is for the is for for the sake of speeding of the studio tape recorders.
If you do wanna do it, just take a chromatic tuner and tune one 1/4 step down all the strings.
K, But I won't be able to play along
