im trying to build a daily practice routine

Its good to combine theory with technique exercise, so I would recommend mixing in some Andrews theory lessons..

How bout chords? They are essential and often underrated. You can check out my Chord Workshop Series here on GMC.

You can check out my Chord Workshop Series here on GMC. truth is im embarresed to say that even thogh everything i can play because i started unconventially i cant even pull of a basic song with chords. im having a difficulty finding the inspiration to satrt practicing them. not many songs i like to hear need more than a couple of power chords. any ideas? besides making myself sit down and learn them? Chord exercises are not only for improving your chordal and rhythmic skills. They often enable you to become a better at soloing and improvising as well. By going through all the chords you will learn the harmony better, and how scales and notes you play relate to the chord progressions, no matter if it is couple of powerchords, or complex chordal progression.
