Hey mate!

I think you are on a good path with this one smile.gif Aside from the little timing de-phasing (sec 0:10-0:11) what you should do to improve this, would be to boost the level of the guitar just a bit more, use the neck pickup and try to play less stiff somehow. It feels like the piece is not yet natural to you, to a point at which you can play it at any given point. I think you should give this one another try, man!

Keep rocking

Advice about the pickup position is a good one smile.gif Your take is nicely done and I like Your very confident playing. Don't wanna copy what Cosmin's wrote so I'll only add that You could improve Your tuning in positions. Octaves and 5th's are the most "trust worth" intervals so while You play the octaves there are moments where things get a little bit out of tune. Please consider going to forum and checking my "tuning tips" topic. As for the timing...You are basing on just a backing guitar rhythm and that's a tough thing that's why I ain't gonna be too crude while judging Your take smile.gif I think It's worth a little bit more work (only a little) + improving the tuning and You'll easily pass smile.gif

Hi mate! Good playing. This is one of my favorite lessons from my archive. smile.gif
Your take is good an only need some little adjustment. You have to be careful with timing, it very notorious around 00:10 as Cosmin said, but along the whole take there are parts where timing is not perfect (around 00:35) and some others where you could be playing with more groove (ex: around 00:18). By the way you are on the right path so keep on the hard work! wink.gif
