Mar 26 2013, 12:12 PM	Instructor Posts: 22.808 Joined: 14-June 10 From: Bucharest	Thanks again guys! @bleez - For ken jutsu I had to execute all the blocking types perfectly and also the first 2 kata - Ippon me and Nihon me and for batto jutsu about 11 Kata - the final one being the Kaishaku - a very delicate kata, in which you are basically cutting off the head of one committing seppuku to spare him the pain. It's a difficult cut but I will not explain it here We will exercise it in the future on straw dummies called makiwara. As strange as it may seem, it is actually an act of compassion and brotherly love... The kaishakunin, which is the one executing the kata was usually the best friend of the one who had to commit seppuku, or one who was in a close connection with that one.
