Lately I've been playing a lot of Rage against the Machine and Audioslave (big Morello Fan) so I've been leaning towards a Digitech Whammy pedal and a CryBaby Wah. I've pretty much decided on the Digitech but I can't seem to decide between the original cry baby or a Zakk Wylde. I believe Morello uses a original but I sorta like the crunchyness of the Wylde. If anyone has any suggestions please help or if there is another pedal you think would be better. I don't play in a band or anything this is just a jamming in the spare room because I can thing. Hi Rokchik - very well thanks I played an SG and an LP, LOVED the clean tone of the LP, but found the SG a little more playable, certainly faster ... but the LP they had in the shop was the 50s neck, and now I know what you mean about playing a baseball bat! I will definitely add an LP to my collection eventually, but will probably go for the 60s neck - I just love the sound of those humbuckers and the bags of sustain you get with the LP standard - an awesome guitar. I'm still torn between the two Wah's but a friend of mine has a buddy in a band who has the Zakk Wylde and he's loaned it to me while he's out of town. There was an artical in GuitarWorld, about 3-4 months ago with Mr.Morello. It gave alot of into on how he gets his sound. Hope that helps a bit. All the best to you and the arm. Both wah's are different in sound, so if you cant choose between the two, then buy both. Offcourse we all dont have that kinda cash but one way or the other youd have a good time with it. Apr 6 2007, 05:00 AM	GMC:er Posts: 96 Joined: 5-April 07	talking about pedals,i wonder if u guys have seen the boss GT-8 pedal? that pedal is awesome man,i tried it out at my local guitar shop that day,it cost ard 800 singapore dollars,its really a great pedal,with all the cool effects n easy control,but i doubt i can afford it now,this coming saturday is my birthday, i hope my frens will get me a multi effect pedal,not as expensive like boss but something like korg AX-1500G will do for me,take care dudes... I have that mag and disc almost worn out. It was a great help as was having a bit of problem with "Killing in the name" I'm still torn on the wahs as havn't been able to play anything but I've been listening to different songs that I know utilize the different kinds and it's helped a bit. But I'll have to play both to see. Right now though I'm sorta digging the crunchyness (not sure if that's a word) of the Wylde but we'll see...the saga continues.
