Hi guys smile.gif
Just finished off this new song and thought i would put it up here for anyone interested smile.gif

The structure and arrangement is very simplified compared to my previous songs. The verses still sound very different but i've put in a repeating chorus.

Please note: I've added a piano as a vocalplaceholder and it's got the melodies i'm looking for in the possibility i can get vocals on it smile.gif But so far i've only got the first verse and chorus planned out.

Hope you like it!

dude, i loved it. The piano makes it so warm and then it turns around with the guitar riffs and makes it scratch, its awesome. Is the intro legato?

also the solo sounded harmonizes like 2 guitars at once, it was very well done and well written, I get the feeling ur trying to put out here

The solo are 2 seperate guitars with one of the guitars changing to harmonies in certain areas.

Dude, this is great man. Very main stream and quite ready for airplay IMO. The piano definitely will show a vocalist what your thoughts are here. Have you written any lyrics at all for it?

Great Trond!!! Really Great! biggrin.gif

The Piano also adds a nice touch, maybe you should add vocals and leave it as well, just my two cents wink.gif

Trond this is awesome man, your sense for arrangement is excellent, not to mention mixing. It really shows you invested a lot of time in this, details are incredible. I'm glad I can hear this song and recognize your style wink.gif
Vocals would sound awesome on this indeed smile.gif

Nope, no vocals thought out yet. I'm clueless when it comes to writing down words. smile.gif

This is so good it offends me! mad.gif

But seriously I love the riffs, I can imagine a bruce dickinson style voice over this and it sounds great.
It may be simplified, but its damn epic man, great tune!

I think i'm actually going to try writing some lyrics for this one....
I just got an idea for a concept album, and it's about this guy facing eternity in hell and reflecting back on all the choices and things he did to end up there. Well, thats atleast the first initial idea smile.gif

Thanks! biggrin.gif
I wrote it the same way i do with most of my songs; recording minutes of random improvised playing untill something with potential appears, and then cut away the rest and then build a song around that first good idea.
