Hi tflava, great to see you practicing!

This lesson shows that you are getting used to tapping technique. There is off course work to go in order to feel more comfortable with the technique but you are on the right track, it's just a matter of practice. The two main elements to improve are timing and making the notes sound louder, instead of "timid" as it happens in some moments.

Keep on practicing with this in mind and you'll master this one.

Hi Tim, this is pretty good my friend. As you'll realise, the timing is the really hard thing to nail with tapping - especially with slow tempos like this.

The place where timing is usually lost is between pulling off with the tapping finger and pulling off with the fretting hand. Go back and watch your take and notice that most of the timing fluctuations occur in those moments. You tap at the right time but often pull the tapping finger off slightly too early and then you pull the fretting finger off slightly early too. Focus in on this area and you'll notice the timing getting tighter

Hey Tim!

Really cool take of yours. I guess keeping perfect timing on a shuffle groove is not an easy task. I think it needs more attention. If I could suggest one thing, I would go for lower gain. Tapping same as any other kind of legato form, needs some strength to be executed properly. At some gain level we will not experience this because notes come out quite easily. Going for medium crunch tone will for sure make you able to get wanted tone, but at the same time will expose some strength issues if there are some. OF course it's just a suggestion. Overall it's a good take with tjust the timing to be slightly tighter
