New Guitar, Geting a new guitar

I've been looking at jackson's and ibanez's but it dont know which one to choose. I've been playing electric for 2-3 years now and I need a real good guitar. I mostly play metal and hardrock solo's. So, I need some advise... Not to expensive advice though, since my dad is paying the guitar. It would be nice if the guitar got a whammy. Jackson carries a JS Line of guitars. Its got some wicked guitars, not only regular shaped bodies but V's and warriors. The Quality is alright!. I had a JS-30 for a long time.. no such luck with a Wammy bar but they are solid.. i think if you go like 1 step up you can get the whammy.
