Hello Guitar master class. I'm kind of new here, but i would like to ask a question for help regarding rhythm guitar.

I am intermediate to advanced on soloing and i know all my guitar theory, but i am not pleased with my rhythm guitar tricks. I can express myself very well on single melody lines and soloing, and i know all the scales i should know including some exotic scales.

I want to be able to carry out good advanced all kinds of metal, blues, funk, rock rhythms that would be pleasing to the human ear, but i can only complete ordinary chord progression riffs switching with palm muting, and all that basic stuff. I want guitar riffs to be a part of me, and i want to do some riffing techniques like Killswitch Engage, Rage Against the Machine, Metallica, Megadeth,Lamb of God, In Flames and Led Zeppelin, but some of their riffs seems too complex for a rhythm guitar noobie like myself.

So my question is, what should i practice on guitar master class to get my rhythm guitar to a new level, so all kind of rhythms would be very easy for me, and a peace of cake, so i can express myself freely in what style of rhythm i want to do. I am willing to do the work for this kind of rhythm guitar talent. I want to hear a riff and say "Piece of cake, and jam it out on my guitar."

Another question is how do i work on my ear so i can hear songs, and just play them, because i feel that i'm also behind on ear playing. I want to play all the music i hear in my head and on cd. How would i achieve this goal?

Any suggestions on my lesson plan?
