I would say these presents have all different prices... don't really know. What do you need the most? Do you have any processors/modelers? Do you want/need to play drums or keyboards?

I don't know mate... I would choose drums, but can't speak for you. Maybe get a video cam since you will use it the most of all things. If you have a toneport you can cut off the POD device.

I think he said he has a Toneport Pedja, if you check it our you will see that it is very similar to POD device (has the same sounds). I just can't see the point in having two very similar devices. One of them would be used over another, so perhaps a wiser solution is a piano or cam in order to record some lessons. I would say a cheap MIDI Controller and Camera are necessary for some a bit professional audio work so this is what is most useful.

I've been thinking of upgrading my Pod XT to a X3/X3Live.
However, after reading the Line6 forum I really hesitate... Seems like we're all beta testers for the X3, some people have been having such problems with their units (especially the Live version) that I think I'll keep my XT, at least for now. Some have even returned their units, got a new one and the new have the same issues. Problems are faulty buttons and knobs, audio drop out with USB, delays at program change, Midi not working properly, and more... You can read more here: http://line6.com/support/thread.jspa?threa...8&tstart=30 But I still consider the Bean version since it has less problems, and I would only use it at home anyway. It's too bad, I think POd is superior in the world of ampmodeling tonewise... -------------------- Gear: * Vigier Shawn Lane Master, Bridge Bareknuckle Nailbomb, Middle DiMarzio FS-1, Neck Bareknuckle Cold Sweat * Padalka Custom Space-6, Bareknuckle Juggernaut set * Ztevie's Blue, Custom Handbuilt by Rek Guitars, Seymour Duncan Full Shred humbucker set * Yamaha LLX6 Acoustic * Fractal Audio Axe FX II XL+ |

If I do buy the Pod, I already have buyer for the toneport Ivan In that case the POD might be a good solution mate. It is better than the Toneport in general, so if you wanna sell the Toneport it is a good idea. -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE
